We write inside a lineage — sermon, song, quilt, canvas, and archive. The thematic accent asks what our scholarship makes, and what our making teaches.
Mediumship
Attention to the channels: the scholar as conduit, the medium as message, and the forms — paint, print, prose — through which our traditions speak.
Artists in Residence
Working artists join us for the week, in conversation with our writing and in the studio hours held open between blocks.
